Club Member Christmas Party & Club Meeting
The annual club Christmas Party is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, December 7th at 7:00 p.m. Additional details will be provided as we get closer to the date.
2019 Leftover Turkey Fun Run (Private Event)
NGLS club members are you looking to get rid of the leftover turkey and trimmings. Come out for a club fun run day at the railroad. Bring friends, family, and bring the leftovers to share.
Work Day Planned - November 16, 2019 at 8:30 a.m.
We have a work day planned for Saturday, November 16th. We are planning on bringing in heavy machinery to clear the area for the new 20ft container and new mainline grade crossing. We are looking for club members, friends, and anyone who is interested in learning more about the club on this day. We are also looking for anyone who has a bobcat, small dump truck or dump trailer, chain saws, and more.
Annual Boiler Inspection - Saturday, October 26th at 8:30 a.m.
Our annual boiler inspection is scheduled for Saturday, October 26th at 8:30 a.m. If you have a steam engine in need of an inspection come out early as we do the inspections.
Work Day - Saturday, October 26, 2019
We will be getting the railroad ready for our final public run day of the 2019 season. Come out and do one final check of the railroad. We will be doing the normal grass cutting, equipment check, railroad check, and more. Come out and help us prepare the railroad for an exciting day of operating trains.
Club Meeting, Saturday, October 12, 2019 @ 11:30 a.m.
Our club meetings will be at 11:30 a.m. This is the same day that we have our 4th public run day so please arrive early and help get setup so we can have a quick meeting and lunch. The meeting is open to anyone and especially those that are interested in learning more about our club.
