Work continues on the passenger line along with preparing the railroad for a private event that will happen on Saturday, July 17th. The plan is to continue to lay track so make sure you bring knee pads, power tools, plenty of water, a lunch, and a really good sense of humor.

The “Big Dig” continues on Saturday, June 19th as the passenger line project moves full steam ahead. Details on the day are still being worked out but be prepared to lay track. We are looking for as many volunteers as possible as we bring in heavy machinery to help us dig and prep the area. If you are able coming make sure you bring a lunch, water, and a good sense of humor.

The “Big Dig Pour” has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 24th at 8:30 a.m. We are in need of as many helper as possible with nearly 9 yard pour for the grade crossing. Come prepared with tools, water, lunch, and a good sense of humor as always. For additional details please contact Norm.

The “Big Dig” passenger line project is full steam ahead and we are finishing the prep work to have the concrete poured and start prepping the ground west of the grade crossing to start laying track heading towards the station. Come prepared with power tools, gloves, water, lunch, and a good sense of humor.

We are having an impromptu workday on Saturday, May 8th. Both “Bob” and “Bob 2” will be on hand to help with the moving and digging of dirt for the grade crossing project and to prepare the area for the next container delivery.
